Welcome! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our services, including private Efteling companion trips, group outings, itinerary planning, virtual consultations, and related offerings, both in-person and online.

By booking or purchasing any service from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Service Overview

We provide custom planning and tour services for visits to Efteling theme park in the Netherlands. Our offerings include:

  • Private custom tours

  • Group tours for expats and travelers

  • Dutch Language Immersion Tours

2. Independent Operation & Trademark Notice

This business is independently operated and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Efteling B.V., the Efteling theme park, or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. The name "Efteling" is a registered trademark of Efteling B.V.

Any references to Efteling are made solely for the purpose of describing the nature of the services offered. All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners.

This service does not resell tickets or claim any official partnership with the Efteling brand. Clients remain responsible for adhering to the rules and policies set forth by Efteling B.V.

Clients participate at their own risk. The company is not liable for injuries, delays, or third-party issues that occur during the trip.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book our services. Minors are welcome only as part of a family booking, accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian.

4. Payment & Booking

All services must be paid for in full and in advance through our website or authorized booking platform. Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

For all Joysauce services you may receive:

  • 100% refund if cancelled 72 hours in advance.

  • 50% refund if cancelled 48 hours 72 hours in advance.

  • Within 48 hours, we will do our best to reschedule, but we cannot guarantee availability or refunds.

6. Efteling Tickets & Transportation

We will purchase your Efteling park ticket(s) on your behalf at cost via the official Efteling website. We do not add any markup. This is a courtesy service to simplify your planning experience.

Transportation arrangements vary:

  • Some services involve meeting directly at the park.

  • Others may include private taxi transfers, arranged by us.

All arrangements will be clearly communicated prior to your visit.

7. Code of Conduct

To ensure a positive and safe experience for everyone, we expect respectful, lawful, and appropriate behavior at all times, as well as compliance to Efteling’s Park Regulations. We reserve the right to refuse or end a service if a client behaves inappropriately or in a way that endangers anyone’s safety or comfort.

8. Personal Data

We collect only the personal information necessary to provide our services. This may include your name, contact details, preferences, and accessibility or dietary needs.

We will never sell or share your data with third parties for marketing. Data is stored securely and used only for customer support, service delivery, or legal compliance.

You may be asked for your consent to take and share photos (e.g., for social media or marketing). This is always optional, and no photos will be used without your permission.

9. Liability Disclaimer

We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Efteling B.V. While we do our best to ensure smooth and magical experiences, we are not responsible for unforeseen circumstances including weather, third-party transport delays, or park operational changes (e.g., ride closures).

Participation in all services is at your own risk. We are not liable for personal injury, loss, damage, or third-party issues that may occur during the trip.

10. Intellectual Property

All content we create for you (such as custom itineraries or planning materials) is for your personal use only and may not be shared, copied, or resold without permission.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes will be handled under Dutch jurisdiction.
