Some of my earliest and happiest memories are from family trips to theme parks. When my mom took us there, she gave us something priceless: magic. The sense of wonder I felt on those trips is woven into my DNA.

Years later, after over a decade of living and working in Amsterdam, the malaise of too much adulting hit me hard. I didn’t feel like myself anymore and I’d kind of forgotten how to access joy.

Something finally started to shift when I returned to places that spark wonder for me– places like the Efteling. I committed to following this sense of joy and play, attempting to ignore how silly it all felt– and it genuinely changed my life. Wandering through the Efteling reminded me of who I am.

That’s how Joysauce was born. Joy and play are at the heart of who I am and what I do. 

Joysauce brings people together for small-group and private guided trips to Efteling designed to be playful, social, and relaxed. I turn an intimidating list of logistics into a magical day you actually get to enjoy. Whether you join a group or come with your own crew, I act as your local friend who handles the planning so you can simply show up and have fun.
