Come spend a day at the Efteling, the Netherlands’ famous fairy tale theme park, with a small group of fellow Dutch learners and an experienced guide. Practice your language skills naturally while discovering a place beloved by Dutchies for generations.

This trip is ideal for you if:

• You’re an expat in the Netherlands learning Dutch (A2 or above)

• You want to practice your skills in a fun, low-pressure setting

• You’re tired of people replying to your Dutch in English!

  What’s Included:

• Entrance ticket to Efteling

• Full day guided Dutch language immersion experience with a Dutch-speaking guide (I learned Dutch upon moving to the Netherlands– so trust me, I know how you feel!)

• 8 hours of intensive real-world language practice

• Vocabulary tips, games, and cultural insights

• Small group (max 8 people) so everyone can participate comfortably without being overwhelmed

• A surprise Dutch treat (vegetarian- and vegan-friendly!)

• All planning and logistics handled for you – just meet me at the entrance and I’ll do the rest!

  You can also feel free to bring something with you. Everything except your own alcohol is allowed :)

How the Dutch part works:

• We’ll speak Dutch together all day — with help when needed!

• You’ll practice your speaking, listening, and reading skills

• You’ll be introduced to tons of words and phrases you probably haven’t used before (as well as some… interesting… Dutch fairy tales)

• We’ll play fun language games (optional)

• English is used only for clarity when absolutely necessary– so you’ll get real practice without the stress!

  It’s community, in-depth language practice, and a magical day rolled into one, and led by someone who’s been in your shoes!
